On the front cover a handwritten dedication by the author dated March 20, 1925: "To dear Mr. and Mrs. Wanda and Eugeniusz Artwiński, with faithful friendship and deepest gratitude, dedicated Jan Lechoń". Issue 1. Lechon's second and last volume of poetry published in the interwar period, awarded in 1925 by the Polish Society of Book Publishers. Contains works on death and sin, including the cycle .Seven Deadly Sins" (the volume is still regarded as one of the most pessimistic in Polish poetry). Jan Lechoń (1899-1956) - poet, co-founder and leading representative of the Skamander group. Cover design by E. Bartłomiejczyk. Eugeniusz Artwiński (1892-1944) - psychiatrist and neurologist, professor at Jagiellonian University and Jan Kazimierz University in Lvov, who took care of Lechoń after the writer's failed suicide attempt in March 1921.
