Wonders of Poland is a series of Rudolf Wegner's Polish Publishing House, based on the French model, published between 1928 and 1939. Each of the fourteen volumes tells about a different corner of Poland, its history, geography, culture, and presents a complete picture of unusual places seen through the eyes of experts in these areas.
Ferdynand Antoni Ossendowski - Polish writer, journalist, traveler, anti-communist, university teacher, political, scientific and social activist. After the war he was condemned to oblivion, his name was placed in the "censor record". All of his works under censorship in 1951 were subject to immediate withdrawal from libraries. Since 1989, his works can be officially published in Poland.
