General Geographical Atlas with 126 main maps and 139 side maps
Fourth edition of the highly popular and repeatedly reissued atlas. One of the secrets of its popularity was the map reproduction technique used. By using chromolithography instead of engraving on a copper plate, the publisher was able to offer detailed maps at a much lower price than the competition.
