Articles of incorporation of the Polish Literary Society of Dijon, established on the anniversary of the November Uprising, November 29, 1845. The purpose of the society was: "to purchase Polish or French diaries and books treating of Poland, or written by a Pole in any subject or language, to commune them to the members of the Society for reading [...], to care for the welfare of fellow-countrymen, to spread the reputation of Poles with talents, to endeavor earnestly to preserve with the French the most praiseworthy opinion of Polish Emigrants [...]."
Among the founders of the Society listed: Grabowski Alexander, Guzowski Franciszek, Malinowski Jakób, Jabłoński Ludwik, Modliński Józef, Jeżewski Leon Kazimierz, Wolicki Leon, Styczyński Tadeusz.
