Binding in period, decorated and gilded red percale cardboard in db condition with minimal rubbing; spine gilded and embossed with title and geometric-plant and floral patterns; on front cover cartouche with beehive at top and name of publishing house at bottom; while on back cover monogram in medallion from publisher C.D. and the Latin motto "in labore robur" ("in labors strength"); inside condition db, some pages yellowed, characteristic of works from the 19th and early 20th centuries; overall condition db.
