An exceptionally interesting example of printing from the period of theGreat Sejm. Journal - a transcript of the session 209 of 21 December 1789. The text begins with an address by the Speaker of the Sejm and ends with the Secretary reading a proposal to change the way officials are elected. In addition to numerous deputies (e.g. Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz), magnates, ministers, King Stanislaw August Poniatowski also spoke. The session was adjourned until Tuesday, December 22, 1789.
