The Galician Bank for Trade and Industry in Krakow was established in 1911. It issued 4.5% mortgage bonds in crown currency, and from 1920, after changing its name to Bank Malopolska, also in mark currency. In 1927, these issues were converted to gold currency. After the incorporation of Bank Malopolski into the structure of the Warsaw Discount Bank in 1930, the service of mortgage bonds was taken over by Akcyjny Bank Hipoteczny.
The object of the auction is a 4.5% mortgage letter section of 10,000 crowns converted in 1927 to 725 zlotys (dark blue valorization stamp).
Attached to the letter is a voucher without coupons.
A rare and interesting pledge letter
