A collection of two 3% bonds of the Society of the Great Russian Railway issued in St. Petersburg, the same values with consecutive numbers. This was the main railroad of Czarist Russia leading from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Bilateral bonds in four languages, Russian, French, English and German. Decorative motifs with the coat of arms of Russia - the two-headed imperial eagle, a magnificent bordure. It features views of Moscow and St. Petersburg, a moving train and numerous allegorical figures with floral motifs. The bonds have Belgian treasury seals. A unique testimony to the history of railroading more than 140 years ago!
