A collection of two 4% bonds of the Nikolaev Railway issued in St. Petersburg. This was the main railroad of Tsarist Russia leading from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Decorative motifs with the coat of arms of Russia - a two-headed imperial eagle and a bordure of geometric and floral shapes. Double-sided bond in three languages, Russian, French and English. Stamps of Belgian and French stamp duty on the currency. On the reverse a table of loan amortization until 1951. A unique testimony to the history of railroading more than 150 years ago!
