Alphabet Y.4 - number 274, this type is perhaps one of the finest examples in terms of design and engraving for Madagascar in particular in this state of preservation. The banknote remains very presentable and with beautiful colors. Of note, the last sale of an example of this type in TB+ condition was at our colleague CGB in July 2019 for a realized price of 9,260 euros (excluding fees) and a maximum bid of 11,000 euros. With only one PMG 15 (Top pop) specimen in the PMG population to date, there's no doubt that this specimen would be the new Top pop.
Exceptional and extremely rare, with margin restoration and restored tears, flattened. Very good to very good.
