A beautiful, very large format (130x270 mm!) banknote of Czarist Russia, issued mainly to finance the expenses of the treasury of Nicholas II. The banknote, due to its size, allowed the designer to have creative momentum, so that today we can admire the beauty of the composition and details of the banknotes of the time, or rather the state credit ticket, which the banknote officially offered. Due to significant issuances, banknotes with a denomination of 500 rubles from 1912 are common. Nevertheless, pieces that are very nicely preserved are eagerly collected by collectors. The offered banknote has no doubt been out of circulation. Its only downside is a few delicate corns on the left margin. Other than that, the bill is excellently preserved, with fresh corners, stiff paper, and no soiling. Given the thin paper used for the banknote and the large format, such a preserved 500-ruble is worthy of interest.
