Lot description Show orginal version
Grade: AU/XF+
Reference: Miłczak 43a

A very well preserved pass ticket with vivid print colors.

Broken tip of upper left corner and deflection of lower right corner, crease at upper margin.

A perfunctory ticket of unknown authorship by PZGR printmakers, watermark - a grid of squares with rounded corners.

Pass tickets with a denomination of 1 penny were introduced on April 28, 1924, and were a type of paper money issued directly by the Treasury, rather than by the issuing bank, and temporarily replaced small coins, the shortage of which was felt in the market. These tickets were then gradually exchanged for coins or banknotes until June 30, 1932.
