GG, 100 mkp 1916 Jeneral - 7 digits - RARE in unique condition. A variant with the "Jeneral" clause with an extremely rare seven-digit numbering. In nice state of preservation, this banknote is extremely difficult to obtain. Most of the beautiful pieces of these banknotes come from a single (probably only partially preserved) parcel, which was distributed several decades ago among Polish collectors. The offered banknote, which comes from an old collection, is numbered 1042725. In 2018, number 1042727 condition 1- (price 28000 pln) was sold at the Marciniak auction, while in 2023, number 1042728 graded PMG 63 (price 82000 pln) was sold at the auction at Salon Numizmatyczny Mateusz Wójcik. The piece we are offering is also in a beautiful state of preservation, unprecedented for such a banknote. No fractures in the field. Within the margins corner fractures, small crumples and one small tear near the lower left corner. Banknote with naturally ribbed paper with printer's freshness characteristic of this issue. An extremely attractive and needed banknote, for a good collection. Literature: Miłczak 6b, Lucow 264 (R5).
