An eye-pleasing banknote, broken several times when skillfully straightened.
Graphically beautiful banknote from the period of the Free City of Danzig, having on the obverse in an oval on one side John Hevelius and on the other the coat of arms of Danzig, while on the reverse a view of the Fish Market well known to numismatists and collectors from the Dominican Fair in the background and the towers of the City Hall and the churches of the Virgin Mary and St. John, eagerly included in collections.
Banknote of unknown authorship, watermark drops.
