The rarest banknote issued by Polish Government in Exile(WWII). Never recorded, unique serial letter L, which in theory should not exist. Formally the entire issue was destroyed in 1951. Only 1,000 sets were left for archival purposes. In the case of 50 zloty, the serial letter H has been preserved. However occasionally banknotes of other series can be met at the auctions. Czesław Miłczak in his latest issue of the price list for Polish banknotes records series D, G and the mentioned most common H. The serial letter L that we offer is probably the only known and recorded piece. Numerous signs of wear that are characteristic for all notes with rare and unique serial letters. Minor repairs. Good presence. Rare note with unique serial letter that for the very first time is being auctioned.
