A tremendously rare coin in excellent state of preservation. All Olkusz pennies of Stefan Batory are among the very rare and sought-after coins. The offered piece, however, definitely stands out against their background, it belongs to a variety that until now was known only from the famous Hutten-Czapski collection located in the National Museum in Cracow. Its distinctive feature is the placement of two coats of arms on the reverse: the Glaubicz in the shield at the bottom and the Batorychs on the crown. In addition to its enormous rarity, its beautiful state of preservation is also noteworthy. In addition to very well-preserved details, the coin also has a natural mirror showing mint freshness. A magnificent coin for which we have not found any auction listings and which can certainly become an adornment of any collection.
