Lot description Show orginal version
Grade: UNC
Reference: Miłczak 42a

Exquisitely preserved pass ticket with perfect vivid color printing.

A specimen piece.

A perfunctory ticket of unknown authorship by PZGR printmakers, watermark - a grid of squares with rounded corners.

Pass tickets with a face value of 1 penny were introduced on April 28, 1924, were a type of paper money issued directly by the Treasury, rather than by the issuing bank, and temporarily replaced small coins, the shortage of which was felt in the market. These tickets were then gradually exchanged for coins or banknotes until June 30, 1932.
