A rare denomination from the first guilder issue of the Bank of Danzig.
Natural, without preservation, only cross-folded. An attractive, above-average representative of the 10 guilder denomination of the 1924 vintage
It entered circulation as one of the first of the guilder currency from 17.03.1924 to 31.07.1932. Its rarity was probably influenced by its short period of circulation; it did not live to see, like most guilder denominations, the exchange for German marks in 1939.
Printing on behalf of the Senate of the Free City of Danzig was entrusted to British printers.
Variety according to Cz.Miłczak catalog G42a, with series A.
