Pekao bills were not the only ones in circulation at the time. The Foreign Trade Company "Baltona" issued its dollar vouchers, which were so-called sailor's vouchers. They could be used by sailors and fishermen who received a foreign exchange allowance. Vouchers of the second and third series were issued with a date of July 1, 1973, and their printing ended in 1989.
