Specimen banknote of 100 Polish marks 23.08.1919, series : I SERIES A, consecutive numbering : 123,456, double-sided diagonal overprint "MODEL" placed between two parallel lines, in red.
The correct pattern for issuing Viennese marks, with the frequent occurrence of forgeries of various types (with running numbering), here we have the original pattern from the era, with consecutive numbering. The overprint of the MODEL itself is also not questionable, the font used in it is characteristic of the overprints on the issue patterns of Polish marks of the Second Republic. This is one of the variations of the pattern 100 marks pol. 1919, which is a rare opportunity to buy, especially in such condition.
An attractive piece, confirmed by a high PMG grading bill, additionally an EPQ annotation attesting to the exceptional quality of the paper - this is the Max bill of this banknote, only 2 pieces were so graded.
