Star for the War 1939-1945 (1939-45 Star) - British military star awarded for participation in World War II, between September 3, 1939 and September 2, 1945.
The six-pointed bronze star is 49 mm high including suspension and 38 mm wide. In the center is a circular shield with the royal monogram GRI VI and a royal crown. In the rim is the inscription: THE 1939-1945 STAR. Ribbon consisting of three vertical stripes of the same width, in colors: dark blue, red, light blue. Good condition.
