II RP, Decade of Security Badge 1915-1925 - Gontarczyk.
A very rare badge, entitled to Police officers who began public security service between August 5 and 15, 1915, or in the Vilnius civic guard on September 18, 1915.
Two-piece badge, made in silver at the factory of W. Gontarczyk. Badge in officer's version (silver) very rarely appearing in the trade. Signed on the reverse with the engraver's namesake and hallmarked with a sample of 2 (0.800). Dimensions 53 x 51 mm. Nut diameter 25 mm. Post diameter 4 mm. Early nut. Condition of preservation very good. Enamel very nice, rarely seen without losses in such badges.
