Lot description
Rifleman's Eagle (Vienna 1914). 36 x 29mm. Made of brass, silver-plated. Reverse with counter. Originally mounted on mustache-removed. A horizontal safety pin mount added in the era. An analogous eagle, but with the original mount, is published in Tomasz Zawistowski's book, "Polish cap eagles in 1900-17", p. 97. Very good condition.
