Polish World War II fusillade eagle. Made by JR Gaunt of London for the Polish Armed Forces in the West. Made of white metal. On the reverse side original mustache. Condition as shown in the photos close to perfect.
This version of the eagle (but with different mustache mounts) is mentioned in the book by Tomasz Zawistowski. "Polish Eagles on Hats 1939-45" on page 36, illustration 45/6, dimensions 40 mm x 29, 5 mm.
