Polish badge of the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division. The front of the badge in the shape of the cross of Monte Cassino, with a Christmas tree superimposed (Symbol of the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division). Beneath the tree is the Tobruk badge, referring to the division's origins from its origins in the Independent Carpathian Rifle Brigade. On the upper shoulder the abbreviation 3DSK, meaning 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division.
