A patch in the shape of a rectangle made of khaki colored cloth. On the orange round shield, framed by a black border, was inscribed hussar helmet and hussar wings. The feathers of the wings are divided by white thread. This badge was worn on the left shoulder of the uniform jacket, as the identification badge of the 1st Armored Division, called "Squirrel" by British soldiers. Embroidered using a jacquard technique most likely in occupied Germany, commonly called "BeVo" Shipping 64mm x 37mm.
