Front: cross with centrally superimposed medallion with wreath with crowned initials of the regiment's patron saint, inscribed in the wreath inscription PIERWSZY PUŁK, on the arms of the cross dates 1791 1918 and the regiment's numeral 8 U, between the arms of the cross eagles-herbs of the lands: Krakowska, Zatorska, Oswiecimska and Cieszynska;
