Occupation, Poland Independent badge - a numbered organizational badge of the Poland Independent association founded on November 1, 1939 by Jozef Sulinski. Polska Niepodległa fought in the Warsaw Uprising and had up to 20,000 members throughout the occupation. Obverse: eagle holding a scepter in a shield on a red background, on the sides of the shield overlapping initials P-N, below it the date 1-XI-1939. On the reverse: number 1146. silver-plated tombstone, diameter 19 mm. Badge with traces of wear. Good state of preservation. Rare.
