The badge was approved by the Minister of Military Affairs on April 3, 1926. Its maker was Jozef Michrowski. The badge, measuring 47 x 47 mm, was made in silver tombac with a counter-plate, one-piece like the soldier's version, but enameled.
The arms of the badge and the shield of the medallion with the regiment's numeral have been secondarily covered with inferior paint/enamel (perhaps in the era) in imitation of the enamel colors of the officer's badge, which had enamel: navy blue, yellow, red. The colors in the presented badge do not match perhaps due to the poor quality of the paint/enamel, which has become discolored and damaged under the influence of time and use.
The badge comes with a compatible signed cap.
