Lot description
French-made eagle-1940s. 39mm diameter. Machine embroidery in white thread on cloth pad in red. Attached to a cardboard pad covered with red cloth, description on the back: France 1940 eagle on beret and on fusillade. An analogous eagle is published in Tomasz Zawistowski's book, "Polish eagles for caps in 1939-45", p. 25. Very good condition.
