Cross of Combat Deed of the Polish Armed Forces in the West.
Established by the law of May 17, 1989 to commemorate the military deeds of soldiers, airmen and sailors of the Polish Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the battles fought by them in the period 1939 - 1945. The badge of the Cross is a stylized Maltese cross measuring 42.5 × 42.5 mm silver plated, oxidized. On the obverse in the central part is placed the eagle of the Armed Forces, on the reverse there is an inscription: POLISH ARMED FORCES IN THE WEST 1939-1945.
