Medal "Meritorious in the Field of Glory" established by order of the Commander of the 1st Tadeusz Kosciuszko Infantry Division, Brigadier General Zygmunt Berling. Awarded in the years 1943 -1992. The first medals were awarded for the Battle of Lenino.
