Albania Republic Order of Military Service - Medal IV Class 1985 - 1992

Bronze 32 mm.; With original ribbon; The Order of Military Service was instituted in 1949 in a single class for substantial contributions to military service. In 1965, the order was reorganized to 3 classes and 1 medal. The Order was awarded to Generals and Officers of the People's Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for excellent results in commanding Units and Subdivisions. The medal was awarded for the same reasons to Junior Officers and Warrant Officers of the People's Army and Ministry of Internal Affairs.
