A beautifully preserved medal sash of one of the oldest societies in England, having its origins in the mid-18th century.
Made in bronze or brass, gilded and enameled.
The main part of the medal is an engraved jewel with five enameled medallions. In the central part a monogram.
Metal chain with velvet lining.
On the chain and the reverse of the jewel engraved names and consecutive annual dates.
