Three kakemono scrolls depicting birds on branches

Lot description
On the first scroll we see a flowering plum tree, on which an exotic-looking yellow-green bird is perched. Attached to this scroll is a box - written on it is the title of the work "Red and White Plum" and the name of the artist - Yajima Seiji.
Dimensions of the entire scroll: 137.5 x 65 cm. The second kakemono scroll depicts two sparrows sitting on the branch of a blooming red plum tree (ume). The scroll is hand-painted and framed in elegant fabric. All in excellent condition, ready to hang and display. The kakemono was painted on paper.
The attached paulownia wood box bears the inscription "紅梅" (Kōbai), which means "red plum tree."
