Two woodcuts vertically cropped, where on one we see the couple playing with each other while still in their clothes. What
interestingly, one of the designs on the woman's kimono is embossed in the paper with the woodcut matrix itself. The other print simply depicts a woman sleeping in a room, stroking her hands.
The sizes of the two works are identical (and are probably made by the same author): 17.5 cm x 23.3 cm, total format (with frame) - 32.7 cm x 24 cm.
All prints from both of these auction items were created in the 1960s and
were made by hand using traditional ukiyo-e techniques.
