A set of six hand-carved netsuke made of ivory.The figurines depict the figures in dynamic poses, realistically capturing the emotions and movements associated with their activities. The figurines show subtle embellishments and staining, highlighting details of clothing and accessories, such as freshly harvested vegetables (probably zucchini and eggplant), a paddle, nets and baskets of fish, a trident, scrolls, calabashes and even a rat.
The entire set is stored in an elegant wooden box lined with green cloth, which protects the figurines from damage.

Dimensions of the box: 9.5 x 6.5 x 18.5 cm
All netsuke are 5 cm high
Author: unknown, all figurines are signed with the same signature
