This auction item is a unique set consisting of two traditional netsuke and one okimono, made of ivory. Each of the sculptures depicts a geisha in an elegant kimono, with beautifully crafted details.
The two netsuke figurines in this set depict geisha in seiza position.The okimono, a larger figurine intended for interior decoration, also depicts a geisha in richly decorated attire with finely rendered facial and fabric details. The woman holds a fan in her hand. The figurine is signed on the underside.
The set comes with a wooden box used to store the sculptures.
The netsuke is preserved in good condition, not counting losses, and the okimono is in perfect condition. Dimensions of the box: 7.5 x 5.5 x 13 cm

Dimensions of netsuke: 5 x 3 cm
