The subject of this auction is a carefully crafted set of four netsuke figurines cut from ivory depicting figures of monks and gods. The individual figurines depict the following characters:
1. Fukurokuju - god of wisdom and longevity, depicted as an elderly man with a long beard and high forehead: one of the Seven Gods of Happiness
2. yurōjin - god of longevity, holding a staff, which emphasizes his age and wisdom; also one of the Seven Gods of Happiness
3. a monk holding a basket of fish
4. second monk with folded hands The figurines are stored in an elegant wooden box, which adds to their class and facilitates their safe storage and presentation.

Dimensions of the box: 7 x 7 x 19 cm
Monk with folded hands and Yurōjin - 5.5 cm high
Fukurokuju and a monk holding a basket of fish - 5 cm high
Author: unknown, all figurines are signed with the same signature
