Kakemono depicting a mountain landscape

The scroll depicts a beautiful mountain landscape with a waterfall and rural huts, done in the traditional Japanese sumi-e painting style. The scroll is framed in an elegant silk fabric in shades of gold and beige. The entire piece is stored in a box made of paulownia wood with the inscription "六字名号" (Rokuji Myogo) referring to the six characters of the Buddhist mantra "Namu Amida Butsu."
