Kozuka signed "Yamanaka Mitsumasu" - he created roughly between 1825 and 1850. Decorated with a lobster motif, or more precisely a shrimp from Ise. Made of shakudo (copper and gold alloy) with a surface textured with fine dots (nanako). Gilded lobster.
The fittings were made during the Edo period (1603-1868).
