Seppa (separators) copper, blackened. Fuchi and kashira (handle fittings) antique, also iron, with a motif of slanted scratches. Classic habaki of patinated brass with decoration in the form of grasses in the rain (koshi-yujo). Old copper menuki (ornaments under the braid) with antique orange patina depict two fighting roosters. Handle (tsuka) wooden, covered with natural stingray leather (samegawa) in beige-gray. Braid (tsuka-ito) of Japanese silk ribbon in black (kuro). Katana joined by a single bamboo peg (mekugi). The sword can be completely disassembled into individual pieces for maintenance or replacement. Scabbard made of honoki (Japanese magnolia) wood lacquered in graphite-black semi-matte, striated. The surface of the saya (scabbard) with a fine texture imitating the porosity of stone (ishime). Finishes of the scabbard (koiguchi, kurigata, kojiri) made of black water buffalo horn.
