Biography
Graduated from the Cracow branch of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. In 1953 she was a co-founder of the ST-53 group and participated in all exhibitions of the group during its existence. In the 1950s she was inspired by the art of W. Strzeminski and P. Mondrian. Her later art was constituted in contact with the philosophy of Buddhism and Zen. She was associated with the neo-avant-garde movement and the Crooked Circle Gallery in Warsaw. Since 1967 she participated in the activities of the Oneiron circle, which she co-founded. Since 1983 she has lived in a Buddhist colony in Przesieka near Jelenia Góra.
