The author about himself:
"I am a painter, illustrator, computer graphic designer. A graduate of the Pedagogical and Artistic Institute in Kalisz at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. I defended my diploma in painting and graphic design. I am also a member of the International Watercolor Society Poland and the Association of Polish Artists Polish Applied Arts.
In my painting, understatement is the main chord. To paint in such a way as to create space for interpretation, to leave something for the viewer so that they can enter into a dialogue with what they see is my main goal. This dialogue is sometimes brief and sometimes it will take us into a longer conversation, but it is always a form of communication.
Often in watercolor classes, workshops or plein-air events that I conduct I get asked how to present a subject, how to paint... This seemingly simple question is difficult to answer because each of us sees and feels the world differently. I came to the conclusion that the artist should be a bit like a translator, who translates from one language to another. From the language of the real world which is the subject of a given work into the language of painting, watercolor. For this to happen you need to have a good understanding of both languages. On the one hand, it is useful to have a very good painting technique and, on the other hand, to be close to life, close to the subject we paint. To be honest with ourselves and this is already a task that sometimes takes us a lifetime."
