He was interested in geometric abstraction, painting of matter. He organized open-air workshops, was socially active in the Bialystok Branch, then the District of the Association of Polish Artists, which he belonged to since 1960. He exhibited at the Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting in Szczecin. His most famous achievements were a distinction at the International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Monte Carlo (1966) or a group gold medal at the International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Juvisy-sur-Orge near Paris (1969). For many years he was the graphic editor of "Gazeta Białostocka", later "Gazeta Współczesna". He participated in 80 collective and individual exhibitions.
