Halina Tymusz was born in 1960 in Zary. She is a graduate of the State High School of Fine Arts in Katowice and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. She received her diploma with honors in the studio of Prof. Tadeusz Grabowski and Andrzej S. Kowalski. She also received the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art in 1986. Her works are mainly in private collections in Poland, Germany, England, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Canada and the USA.
