Zakopane tray for toiletries or knitting

Wood, woodcarving, mirrored panel; 7.5 x 30 x 18 cm.
Poland, Zakopane, 1st half of the 20th century.
Rectangular, elongated box; bas-relief ornamentation; on the lid, in a circular recess, depiction of a reaper - highlander in hat, with pipe in teeth, breeches, high "brigand" belt and furs - with scythe in hand. Around and on the sides of the box - rosettes, flower branches, etc. Inside the case lined with light birch wood - compartments and a folding mirror.
Condition of preservation: bottom slightly chipped.
