Wallet with coat of arms of the Kingdom of France and Navarre, [18th century], VERY RARE

Beautifully preserved original wallet from the 18th century . The wallet is made of leather, with a richly decorated face [gilding], in the central part placed the coat of arms of the Kingdom of France and Navarre [1589-1792], the center green canvas with an embossed floral motif [twigs] on the side pockets, string drawn through the center, ending with a green tassel, the back of the wallet finished with a uniform embossing pattern, size 13.5 x 19.5cm, when unfolded 27.5 x 19.5cm, very good condition, minor rubbing on the spine at the folding point, a RARE original item from the 18th century.

Kingdom of France and Navarre - existed from 1589 to 1792, created by the unification of the Kingdom of France with the Kingdom of Navarre as a result of dynastic succession in 1589. The Kingdom was an absolute monarchy ruled by the Bourbon dynasty. In 1792, the French Revolution transformed the Kingdom of France and Navarre into the First French Republic.
