Original tin box for 20 "ERGO" cigarillos with Polish-British Ship Society ["Polbryt"] advertisement, f. 9 x 8,8cm, very good condition, RARE

Polish-British Shipbuilding Society ["Polbryt"] - a mixed shipowning company established in 1928 on the initiative of Julian Rummel, to serve the emigration traffic that swelled Gdansk and other Baltic ports in the late 1920s. Three-fourths of the shares in the company were held by"ŻŻeglugaPolska", the remaining 25% by the British shipowning company "Ellerman & Wilson Line". In 1952 the communist authorities liquidated the company, incorporating the ships into the Polish Ocean Lines.
