A beautiful patriotic plate in wood.

As Bigoshevskaya describes: wooden plates with patriotic symbolism were a popular souvenir, especially after the fall of the January Uprising. They were hung in homes in a place of honor as symbols of hope and national memory during the period of captivity.

Description: in the central part engraved white eagle on a red shield resting on two red banners, a scythe and a confederate, on the collar of the plate the legend GOD SAVE POLAND, IM ligature and two images of sabers.

Preservation condition of the object very good.
